What You Need To Know For Lip Embroidery
Will my lips appear very red after my embroidery ?
When you see my work on Instagram/ Facebook do not be afraid if the colour appears very red.
After the healing period, the embroidery will leave behind a natural pinkish shade instead of a heavy make-up lipstick shade.
Thus, I always advise clients to not be afraid of choosing a darker shade than the desired one. As the pigment penetrates the dermis of the lips therefore, the colour will not appear to be as vivid as the swatch or as the colour in the bottle.
Would I be able to wear lipstick over my lip embroidery?
Semi-Permanent lip makeup would never appear as intense as lipstick. It will leave behind a very natural colour.
*Disclaimer
We strongly discourage any form of lip makeup within 7 days after getting your lip embroidery done. Applying makeup while the wound while it is still healing would increase the risk of having an infection. However, you may apply lipstick after 7 days.
(Here is a bonus tip for perfect lipstick application: buff some foundation and powder on your lips to neutralize the embroidery colour, then apply the desired lipstick. This step also makes lipstick last for longer period).
Can i choose the intensity of the lip pigment ?
Everyone’s lip base colour and absorption rate are different. Thus, choosing the same colour code will have different result on different individuals.
Our artist - Tiffany will examine your lip and you may advise on the colour that you desired for. Of which, she would then mix a concoction to achieve the colour.
However, we cannot guarantee 100% of that the outcome would produce the results you desire but we assure that it will enhance your lip colour & shape.
*Pigment colour mixing for lip colour correction is an important step before the actual treatment, right to the details of the ratio of colour used and how to ensure that the colours are mixed properly is extremely crucial for optimal results.
Tiffany Luo had specially attended the course in 2018 for pigment colour mixing theory to make sure she is able to solve the appearance of dark lips and satisfy with clients with a desirable colour.
Is it painful?
We can not deny that lips are the most sensitive part of our bodies but topical anesthetic cream have developed a lot recently to work on lips with minimum pain.
You can be rest assured upon application, the procedure is painless. It is very different from other type of numbing cream as it contains very powerful permissible anesthetic content which have immediate fast absorption to the dermal layer of the skin, leading a temporary loss of sensation hence you will not feel the pain during the procedure.
